The 2017 nominees for the National Inventors Hall of Fame was released in support of the 45th class! Some of the inventions from this class are:
- Band Aid adhesive bandage
- Lead-free Solder
- Automotive Exhaust Catalyst
- Bambi Bucket for aerial firefighting
- Oversized Tennis Racket
- Drywall
If you’ve not searched through the past archive of Inventors, I would encourage you to do so. There are so many great inventors. Probably not true with all of us, but many of the things accomplished in the past we now take for granted but it’s these achievements that have brought humanity from horse and buggy in the late 1800’s to autonomous vehicles with renewable energy and robots roaming the surface of Pluto.
